Education is a process of teaching, training and learning especially in schools or colleges to improve knowledge and develop skills. It is obvious that education helps a person to promote their learning skills to change their behavior. Furthermore to survive in a society, a person must have knowledge and skills and that must be brought into practice. Everybody knows that man is mortal. Therefore, these skills should be passed on to the next generation for the continuation of humans. Clearly, next generation means later born children or people who will master the world. Education, which has been a basic need of a person after food, clothes, shelter and health, must be given to every person- no matter where they were born. Education must be for all so that the human resource or manpower, that a country needs, can be supplied. Until humans survive in the world, they need doctors, engineers, teachers, farmers etc. People, in this twenty first century are still deprived of education.

Neither they are able to receive formal education from schools and colleges nor are they able to get informal education through media. It is because they are paralyzed by their poverty. Moreover, the privatization in education has also made them to be away from learning skills. In general it is the responsibility of the state to provide its people their basic needs free of cost especially education. Education must be free so that 'Education for All' comes into reality. Education is the right of every citizen besides, where people are deprived of education, that country, gets deprived of social, economic and political prosperity.

So if any sob makes you appear immediately on the cradle, you'll find that you have a miniature dictator soon who keeps you up and running with joy. Between seven and fourteen months, children normally start testing their limits. This results from a growth in both mobility and stubbornness, so what's being put on test are the parents' patience with keeping their little ones from exploring, often eating and probably destroying the reachable parts of the household and for how long they can get away with it. Babies at that age start challenging their parents by stubborn disobedience, but that should not lead to punishment. Be firm and persistent in telling and showing them what they're not supposed to do, but don't be rude or harsh. Their concentration usually doesn't last, so distraction is a great weapon. Discipline can become considerably harder to apply, but is vital to steer the course of your child's further development. It has to learn that the authority and decision is with the parents. Still, love and forgiveness is of even importance. Especially the father's role as an authority for the child and support for his wife can make this period a lot easier. With increasing mobility, skill and curiosity a child between two and three years can keep its mother constantly busy, taking every moment of silence as an indication of a new disaster involving eating things, messing around with things and getting stuck in things. This can really add to the load of stress parents already have, and the explosive emotional or even physical reaction might ease the moment, but on the long term increases the problem. So be as relaxed as possible and make sure you've got all valuable pieces of household equipment properly secured. When children receive a bump or scratch that's no drama - turning it into one will just make you and your child over-frightened in the future. Still, with all calmness, don't miss to tell your child when it did wrong and discipline when it's overdoing it. In the following years, the focus of education should be on the child's character and attitudes. The influence of trends, friends and media is strong, and the temptation to try new things is high. At the same time, the control parents have over their children's activities is reduced, and especially when it comes to trends parents often lack understanding for the things that are "in". So even though your child becomes more independent, it's important that you have time together and show interest in its experiences, interests and problems. Offer to talk about things, but don't urge. Show understanding and always be there as someone your child can talk to without fear - remember the days when you were in that age, and your feelings at that time.

It requires a lot of enthusiasm, optimism, patience, tolerance, and perseverance for one to be a special education teacher as the job involves a lot of interaction with students of all age groups and with other people. In the United States, all states demand special education teachers to be licensed. The special education teacher has to complete of a teacher's training program and must have a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree. As they deal with students with mild to profound disabilities, their job demands specialization in either one or other areas of disability, which would enable the teachers to develop their own curriculum materials and teaching techniques to meet the needs of the students.

Parent Education - An Underrated Initiative

Parents must learn better ways of communicating with their children and providing them with information before it is obtained outside the home. This can only occur if this country takes a serious look at making parent education a priority. Parents must take a more active role in the ever changing dynamics associated with parenting. There's an old saying that goes a bit like this, "If I knew better, I would do better." Today parents are grappling with issues that no generation has experienced before. No one could have foreseen the effect television and computers have had on our society. Children are being exposed to everything, whether they are ready to understand it or not. There is a profound helplessness in the eyes of many parents as they desperately attempt to shield their children from the vile reality of life. Of course all the abductions, murder, alcohol, drug abuse and abandonment existed years ago, but because our communication practices were so primitive, you fortunately or unfortunately did not have the opportunity to learn about every little detail of the event.

It is impossible to live in a cocoon and even if you could, the technology savvy communication conglomerates would find a way to beam information into your secluded little dwelling. How do we start to provide parents with the information needed to raise loving, caring, competent, well adjusted children? It begins by demanding that the government provide parent education programs for parents. This is not something else to take up a parent's time or pull them away from the little time they have left with their children after working ten hours. Parent education programs, for lack of a better title, involve a variety of practices and tools so parents can learn about the real challenges associated with parenting. As our adult lives become more complex, so will our ability to affect the lives of our children. If I do not have the time to learn what it takes to raise a competent child that will contribute to developing a great nation why should I have children? If I work 50 to 60 hours a week and never see my children, how can I anticipate that they will be responsible, nurturing parents in the future. There is little doubt that this is a complex issue, but as parents we must begin today to discuss the future of America, which does not begin with its children, but with the parents. Life is moving faster than we care to admit and at some point parents will need to take a stand and say enough. Parents need support, parents need help, parents need information, parents need more time with their families and they need it now.
